A pneumatic vacuum feeder is a device that uses compressed air to generate a high vacuum through a vacuum generator, enabling the conveyance of materials. It doesn't rely on mechanical pumps and is widely used in various industries like pharmaceuticals, food processing, and chemicals to transport powders, granules, and other materials to equipment such as tablet presses, capsule filling machines, and packers.
Compressed air enters the vacuum pump and is driven by the cylinder. The vacuum generator creates a vacuum environment. Materials are sucked into the vacuum hopper through hose. After a set charging time, the material in the hopper reaches a certain level. Then, the discharging door of the hopper opens, the vacuum in the pneumatic vacuum feeder disappears, and the materials are emptied into the charging equipmen. The filter is automatically cleaned. Afterwards, the compressed air resets, the vacuum is generated again in the pneumatic vacuum pump, the discharging door closes, and the feeder starts to charge materials again, repeating the cycle.
